Which format should I use?
JPG for photos, PNG for screenshots, logos and images that need sharp edges or transparency, and WebP for websites — it is smaller than both and supports transparency.
What happens to transparent areas when converting to JPG?
JPG does not support transparency, so transparent areas become white.
Are animated GIFs supported?
Only the first frame is converted — the result is a still image.
Can I process several images at once?
