Convert text or names to camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case or CONSTANT_CASE.
About this tool
This tool converts text into the naming styles used in programming: camelCase for JavaScript variables, PascalCase for class names, snake_case for Python and database columns, kebab-case for CSS classes and URLs, and CONSTANT_CASE for constants. It also converts between styles — paste getUserName and get get_user_name. Put one name on each line to convert many at once.
How to use
- Paste or type your text — one name per line.
- Choose camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case or CONSTANT_CASE.
- Copy the result or download it as a text file.
FAQ
Which case style should I use?
Follow your language’s convention: camelCase for JavaScript/Java variables and functions, PascalCase for classes and React components, snake_case for Python, Ruby and SQL columns, kebab-case for CSS classes, file names and URLs, and CONSTANT_CASE for constants and environment variables.
How are words detected?
Words are split at spaces, punctuation, underscores, hyphens and where a lowercase letter is followed by a capital — so "getHTTPResponse", "get_http_response" and "get http response" all give the same words. Apostrophes are removed, so "don’t" becomes "dont".
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion happens in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
