Convert a JSON array to CSV for Excel or Google Sheets — nested objects become columns.
Converted 3 rows
About this tool
This tool converts JSON into CSV that opens in Excel, Google Sheets or any spreadsheet. Each object in the array becomes a row and every property becomes a column — even when objects have different properties. Nested objects are flattened into columns like "address.city", and values with commas, quotes or line breaks are quoted correctly.
How to use
- Paste a JSON array of objects (a single object or an array of arrays works too).
- Choose the separator and whether to include the header row.
- Copy the CSV or download it as data.csv — it opens in Excel with non-English text intact.
FAQ
How are nested objects and arrays handled?
Nested objects become separate columns with dotted names: { "address": { "city": "Pune" } } gives an "address.city" column. Arrays are kept as JSON text inside a single cell.
Will Hindi or other non-English text show correctly in Excel?
Yes. The downloaded file includes a small marker (a UTF-8 byte-order mark) that tells Excel how to read the text.
Which separator should I choose?
Comma is the standard. Choose semicolon if your Excel uses commas as the decimal separator (common in Europe), or Tab to paste the result straight into a spreadsheet.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, so your data never leaves your device.
