Headings, paragraphs and list items stay on their own lines, list items become bullet points, table cells are separated by tabs, and entities such as & are decoded. How to use

FAQ
Is it safe to paste HTML from unknown sources?
Yes. The HTML is read with your browser’s built-in parser in an inactive document, so scripts never run and images or other files are never loaded.
What happens to links?
By default only the link text is kept. Turn on “Show link URLs” to add the address in brackets after each link, e.g. “Docs (https://example.com)”.
Are HTML entities converted?
Yes. Entities such as &, <, and © are converted to the characters they represent.
What about scripts, styles and comments?
They are removed completely. Only the visible text of the page is kept, plus image alt text.
